The Brides of Christ

Don't hold me back, just hold me

Romans 14: 12-23 dealing with the things of God's church:

So then everyone of us shall give account of himself to God.  Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge THIS rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.  I know and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean.  But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably.  Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.  Let not then your good be evil spoken of:  For the Kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.  For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.  Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.  For meat destroy not the work of God.  All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offense.  It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor anything whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.  Hast thou faith?  Have it to thyself before God.  Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.  And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

There are revelations shared by men and women of God which are universal.  There are also some which come by prayer and fasting, and some which come in different forms, according to belief and interpretation.  My belief here is that it is not for us as women of faith to judge, condemn, push, or prod our fellow apostolics into anything we believe.  We miss the opportunity to fellowship because we base that communion on our interpretation of scripture or our organization's teachings.  I believe that God is saying "Don't let your revelation be a blinding force to those who you could love and interact with."  Whatever level you operate on the binding one is LOVE.  Love is blind.  Love is patient.  Moreover, God makes it very clear here that our job is not to hold someone to, dare I say the word, our standards, we need to hold them to the one fact that they, like we were once sheep led astray and now, having come into the knowledge of faith and who God truly is, we must not cause them to starve for the love of like precious faith!  Now, understand this, I am not condemning anyone for their belief or stance, I am in fact adamantly defending your right to observe your faith! But, there are those not on your level, not operating as  you do, and still God loves and uses them.

Ladies, I truly believe that God is returning for a church, not an organization.  That God is interested in those who have the knowledge of his true identity.  To be that church means to avoid stumbling blocks.  Open your heart.  Trust in your teachings!  Believe in God.  How is it that we can influence the world, if we cannot simply agree to love one another in the faith and favor of the apostolic doctrine, regardless of our organizational structure or teaching?  Hold to your man and woman of God, if in fact they preach and practice love.  But hold to each other all the more as you see the evil days approach.  LET GOD SORT OUT OUR FAITH AND WORK OUR DELIVERENCE! Don't hold me back because you think there are things I may lack, just hold me.  Pray with me and for me, and strive for me into Christ as I strive for you.  We all will answer for ourselves.  It frees us from the burden of having to determine who's right and who's wrong in God's eyes.

As I see it here, our ONLY JOB IS TO LOVE> That should be easy enough.

In love,

Sister Dana
